Paint City

Paint City is a turn-based RPG (similar style to Paper Mario or Bug Fables) set in the land of Kraftiworld! Traverse through several regions based on different artforms to defeat the representation of art block.

Pocket Clockwork

Pocket Clockwork is a puzzle adventure! Format still being workshopped. Explore Havenera as Loony, and recover the Magic Pocketwatches from each town before anything terrible happens, with the help of the friends she finds along the way!

Magic Stick Smackdown

This one is also purely hypothetical. It would be a Smash Bros style fighting game mixed with the concept of classic flash stickfight games, and also they all have magic powers.

The Core 7 characters are:

  • Magenta (he/they): telepathy and telekinesis - a quiet and thoughtful individual. literally, because he has no mouth and communicates soley through telepathy. he longs for acceptance.
  • Sky (she/they): light magic - terrifyingly powerful, yet is easily distracted by shiny lights. wants to fight god.
  • Ember (she/they): fire magic from her crown - holds passion as fiery as the dragon she is linked to. amber's sibling.
  • Amber (any): enhanced combat - his ability to strengthen his punches and summon shields makes them very protective of the others when she's not sparring them. ember's sibling.
  • Thyme (she/they): time travel - a mechanic with odd limitations to her powers. they're willing to lend an ear for any troubles you have on your mind, anytime.
  • Turquoise & Rose (she/her for both): plant magic - not of this world, two people were fused together upon arrival. turquoise focuses on defense while rose focuses on offense. one wishes to heal from past wounds while the other strives to improve together.
  • Indigo (he/they): water magic - a merfolk prince with a confident sense of leadership - not that many of his friends listen to him like one. many do respect him, though.

In this hypothetical game, I also imagine that there would be free DLC waves, each containing 2 new characters and stages and such! Here are the characters and the titles of the dlc:

Light in the Dark
Haze (any): darkness magic - a mysterious individual that suddenly showed up one day. she longs to find his place, despite the glares he recieves from certain folks.
Coral (he/she) fairy magic - imagine having beef with him. hes just a little jokester. a silly little guy. you're gonna have beef with a silly little guy? for shame.
Hidden Geodes
Copper (they/them): they have a (magic) gun - YEEHAW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and gun. what else do you need to know
Larimar (she/they): ice and sprits - an anxious and soft-spoken individual. copper's friend.
Dimensional Beats
Neon (they/xir): dimension hopping - full of energy and perhaps a bit broken competitively. brought circuit here.
Circuit - belongs to pastel. from a crossover with a hypothetical racing game.
Final Wave
Rainbow (any): the god of their universe. they use power-limiting wristbands to be viable ingame.
Celestial Ancestry Update
Midnight Blue (they/she): light magic - sky's older sister. playful, and better at controlling her powers.
Amaranth (he/they): telepathy and emotions - magenta's ancestor, and a demi-god.

HELLO YES I LOVE TWINE LET ME HELP YOU ^-^!!! (i only have experience with harlowe, however)

I can share some things I use here! Feel free to shoot me an ask or DM on Tumblr if you need help with something specific!
I'm no expert but I sure am an enthusiast so I'm sure that all balances out right?

  • The Harlowe 3.3.8 manual is your best friend! Sometimes I like to poke around and test out macros I'm unfamiliar with to see where I can use it! You can also scroll through the macros menu in Twine itself (it should be in the second row bar of each passage) to get a quick look at things. They often come with helpful descriptions anyhow!
  • I really like the Harlowe Audio Library! I use this a lot in my twine games. It helps make adding sound effects and music easy! And it adds a sidebar to your twine game for volume controls. Only caveat is that the stylesheet code is not very easy to look at, so it may be intimidating to change the colours and such o_o BUT! There is a solution! Copy and paste the HAL stylesheet code on this site and it will space the code out so you can see what can be edited!
  • Check out my stylesheet templates for Harlowe 3.3.8! Just copy and paste into your Twine game's stylesheet section :]
  • For Sugarcube users, I'm afraid I don't have any experience here, sorry :( But I CAN offer you some links! -> [Pier 17 Template] [Sugarcube Documentation]
